In addition, thermally and mechanically stable lamp design is essential in order to achieve perfect results in harsh operating conditions. Different color temperatures give designers more freedom than they have ever had for creating spectacular displays, day and night.
HTI metal halide lamps
Architecture lighting calls for lamps that push the boundaries of what is possible – and OSRAM even goes one stage further. 4ArXS (“For Architainment eXtreme Seal”) HSD light sources are particularly powerful metal halide lamps that are setting new standards in the architainment sector. Easy maintenance, high load capacity and long life open up new possibilities for creative architectural and effect lighting. In contrast to conventional metal halide lamps, 4ArXS lamps can withstand above-average temperatures. Thanks to innovative XS (eXtreme Seal) technology, we have managed to increase the maximum pinch temperature from 350°C to 450°C. The lamps also offer outstanding luminous intensity and color stability throughout their entire life. And this has been increased to 6000 hours.
